Two-Day Learning Institute
Tuesday January 7, 2025 2:15pm - 3:00pm PST
Join us for an insightful workshop focused on the unique experiences of teaching deaf and hard of hearing students in a general education classroom setting for grades 9-12. This session will explore effective strategies for creating an inclusive learning environment that fosters communication and understanding. Participants will learn how to empower students to become confident deaf consumers, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in a predominantly hearing world. Through engaging discussions and real-world examples, we will highlight best practices in lesson planning, classroom management, and collaboration with interpreters to enhance the educational experience for all students.
