About me
Angie Caster is the Assistant Director of Alignment, Implementation and Measurement at the SWIFT Education Center, Life Span Institute, University of Kansas. SWIFT is a national technical assistance center that builds whole system capacity —state, district, school, and community—to provide academic, behavioral, social, and emotional support to improve outcomes for students, especially those who are marginalized. Angie enjoys working with educators across the system to
affect change.
Angie’s personal and professional experiences with students, families, teachers, and administrators, across elementary and secondary settings have set a strong foundation for the work of transforming educational systems. Angie has leadership experiences at the district and state levels. She is passionate about ensuring equitable access and instruction to students through implementation of a Multi- Tiered System of Support.
