About me
Shane is a Program Specialist at the Alternative Achievement Program withTulare County Office of Education. As a Program Specialist, Shane’s primary role is to serve as the site administrator of the Alternative Achievement Program. Shane oversees all daily functions of the program which includes: implementation of intervention systems, program function fidelity, student transitions, academic progress, evaluations, and overall daily staff and student success.
Shane has served as a Program Specialist for 9 years with Tulare County Office of Education. Prior to his administrative duties, Shane served as an Intervention Resource Teacher for Tulare County Office of Education and an Education Specialist for Visalia Unified. Shane has a passion for support students with disabilities and specifically those that have behavioral and mental health challenges. He is a problem solver and is willing to think outside of the box to find success with students that have struggled in other environments.
