Stephanie Hedberg has been in the special education field for the past 21 years. Starting her career in the classroom and working her way into administration. She is the current Area Director for the Desert Mountain Operations of San Bernardino
Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS). SBCSS serves 14 local LEAs over 1600 students from 0 to 12+ in Early Start, First Class, Extensive Support Needs PK, TK, K, thru 12+, and Success programs. SBCSS has one of the largest Speech Departments in the state with 32 Speech Language Pathologists and 22 Speech Language Pathologist Assistants providing daily in person services. SBCSS provides a full continuum of AAC with the Speech departments guiding philosophy “Every Student Deserves a Voice”.
